If you have never placed a bet online before, it’s really very easy with Ladbrokes.
Ladbrokes offer Single Bets, Multiple Betting, Forecast and Tricast Bets.

Single Bet
A single bet is self explanatory, one bet on a single event.

1. Start by choosing the sport you want to place your bet on from the left hand side panel of Ladbrokes Sports home page.
2. Click on the ‘Get Straight To Your Bet’ from your drop down menu and choose the event you would like to bet on. After making your selection simply click on ‘Bet’. This event will appear automatically on the betting slip.
3. NB: When betting on the horses you could be given the option of two prices. Early Price abbreviated to EP and Starting Price abbreviated to SP, click on either to make your choice. Decide whether you want to place your bet to Win or Each Way and click on the appropriate one.
3. You will see a box for your stake, enter the amount you would like to bet.
4. You place your bet by clicking on the ‘Bet Now’ button then it is important to check the details you have entered in the pop up that follows. If the details are correct and you want to go ahead with your bet, click ‘OK’. If you want to change the details or want to back out, Click ‘Cancel’.

That’s all there is to it, you will now see your bet details along with the winnings you could potentially get.

Multiple Betting
Multiple Betting means to place more than one bet on more than one event.

1. Start by following the steps above for a single bet until you see your betting slip.
2. Make your first bet and instead of clicking on the ‘Bet’ button, click the button named ‘Add to Multiple’. Continue in this way - you will be shown all the bets you have made. When you have finished making all your betting selections, click the ‘Bet’ button.
3. Complete the stakes boxes and whether, if applicable, you want ‘Win’ or ‘Each Way’.
4. Click ‘Place Bet’, check details, then click ‘OK’.

Forecast or Tricast Betting
Forecast or Tricast Betting are only available on selected Greyhound and Horse races. Multiple bets are made all from the same event.
‘Straight Forecast’ - Select two names to bet on in a specified event which must come 1st and 2nd and in the correct order.
‘Reversed Forecast’ - Select two names to bet on in a specified event which must come 1st and 2nd but in no order.
‘Combination Forecast’ - Select three or more names in a specified event, you win if any of your selections come finish 1st and 2nd.
‘Tricast’ betting - select the names you believe will come 1st, 2nd and 3rd in a specified event. To win your selections must come home in the correct order.

For Forecast or Tricast Bets simply follow the Multiple betting guidelines making sure your selections all come from the same event. Forecast use 2 selections and Tricast use 3 selections.

Once any bet has been placed, your betting slip appears with the details confirming your bet. Each confirmed betting slip contains a receipt number which can be used via your account button if you have any problems. When you have received your confirmation, you can not cancel your bet.
